Anaesthesia
A local anaesthetic will be administered to you before your wisdom tooth is removed. This is done to numb the tooth as well as the surrounding areas so that you can feel no pain.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Our dental surgeons will always do their best to make your procedure as seamless as possible. Due to local anaesthesia, you shouldn’t feel any pain throughout the process. But if you do, please inform the dentist straight away.
While there’s no set time for completing the procedure, it should typically take a couple of minutes.
Post-surgery
Our dentist will give you a couple of instructions after the procedure. It will facilitate your recovery if you adhere to them.
You may be placed on antibiotics medication and advised to avoid the following for at least 24 hours:
- smoking and taking alcohol
- drinking of any hot liquid
- partaking in strenuous physical activity
- rinsing out your mouth with any liquid
