CBCT (Cone Beam CT) Scan

Advanced 3D dental imaging

Enjoy safer, faster, and more precise dental care with our onsite CBCT scanning at Dental Paradiso. This advanced 3D imaging technology allows us to visualise your dental anatomy in exceptional detail. Whether you’re preparing for dental implants, a root canal, or complex oral surgery, having CBCT available in our clinic means clearer diagnostics, quicker results, and more accurate treatment planning—so you can move forward with total confidence in your care.

CBCT scans for safer, smarter treatment

Enabling more accurate diagnosis and treatment, our CBCT (Cone Beam CT) scan captures detailed 3D images of your teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, and surrounding structures—all in a single scan. Unlike traditional two-dimensional X-rays, CBCT technology provides a complete three-dimensional view from every angle, allowing us to see more, plan better, and treat with greater precision.

Why we use CBCT at Dental Paradiso

Precise diagnosis & treatment planning

Hidden issues like root fractures, impacted teeth, bone loss, and infections become clearly visible with CBCT technology. This level of detail supports more accurate diagnosis and is especially useful when planning dental implants, extractions, orthodontic treatments, and root canals.

Enhanced patient safety

CBCT provides highly detailed images using a focused imaging method that requires a lower radiation dose than traditional medical CT scans, offering a safer, more patient-friendly option.

Faster turnaround time

With imaging done in-house, your results are available almost immediately. This means we can move forward with your personalised treatment plan without unnecessary delays.

Convenient & onsite

There’s no need to travel elsewhere for a 3D scan. Our onsite CBCT unit allows us to capture everything right here at Dental Paradiso, making your experience smoother, more efficient, and more comfortable.

CBCT Scan

Common applications of CBCT in dentistry

Tooth decay detection

Identify decay at its earliest stages, even in hidden areas or under restorations.

Wisdom teeth evaluation

See exactly where the roots lie and how close they are to nerves or sinuses.

Endodontics (root canal treatments)

Detect extra root canals, curved roots, or unseen infections.

Orthodontic assessments

Understand jaw development, impacted teeth, and tooth movement planning.

Dental implant planning

Ensure the most accurate implant placement by assessing bone quality, height, and nerve location.

TMJ analysis

View the jaw joints and assess issues like joint degeneration or dysfunction.

Sinus evaluation

Especially important for upper jaw procedures where sinus involvement is a concern.

Pathology screening

Identify abnormalities like cysts, tumours, or bone lesions that may not appear on traditional X-rays.

CBCT Scan

What to expect during a CBCT scan

A CBCT scan is quick, comfortable, and completely non-invasive. You’ll simply stand while the scanner gently rotates around your head, capturing hundreds of detailed images in just 10 to 40 seconds. These are then digitally reconstructed into a precise 3D model of your dental anatomy, giving us the clarity to diagnose and plan with greater accuracy.

Our friendly team will guide you through the process, but honestly, there’s not much to it. We’ll adjust the scanner to your height—then all you need to do is stand still. No special preparation is needed, and you can return to your normal activities right after the scan.

We believe in precision, comfort, and care

At Dental Paradiso, we invest in advanced technology to enhance your experience and achieve the best possible outcomes.
