Porcelain Veneers
Smile Design: Porcelain Veneers Procedure
Porcelain veneers are individually handcrafted by Dental Paradiso to fit over your existing teeth. Did you know veneers are between 0.3 mm to 1 mm in thickness?
This allows a natural look that blends in and enhances your smile, without discolouration or bulkiness.
1st appointment:
A smile design consult. Let’s get to know you! During your first appointment, we encourage you to discuss your concerns, expectations, and how we can help you achieve your best smile. We can scan your teeth and send you a Smile Design so you are able to see how you look with your chosen dental treatment.
2nd appointment:
Your dentist will discuss with you how much preparation is required for your veneers. If needed, a small amount of enamel is shaved so your veneers blend with your natural teeth. The dental laboratory receives the impression of your mouth from the dentist and begins crafting your new look. You will be provided with temporary veneers to protect your teeth in the meantime.
3rd appointment:
Go time! Your temporary veneers are removed, and the new porcelain veneers are trialled in your mouth to ensure you are completely satisfied with them before they are permanently bonded.
Teeth whitening
In-Chair Teeth Whitening
Let Dental Paradiso professionally whiten your teeth to give your smile an instant boost! In-chair teeth whitening treatments use high-concentration active whitening gels only available to dentists, which will produce faster and more reliable results than “Do It Yourself” teeth whitening kits.
Before applying the whitening agent, our dentists perform a scale and clean to remove plaque and optimise treatment. The gel is carefully applied to the tooth surface in stages, allowing your dentist to check the whitening process to reach the desired shade. Our treatment usually takes 2 hours and results are immediately visible.
Take Home Teeth Whitening Kits
Prefer to take a kit home?
Teeth whitening kit results will be similar but can take from 2 to 4 weeks to be seen. A dental appointment is still required, as the dentist will need to take an impression of your mouth to prepare custom-fitted trays, as well as scale and clean.
At home, treatment is one hour per day for as many days as recommended by the dentist. Please be aware that results are more variable with this method, however, it can be performed safely in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
