At Dental Paradiso, we will provide you with an extensive examination of your teeth and gums, as well as take digital x-rays if necessary to detect any potential problems that may be developing. Our dentists can then recommend the best preventive treatment and provide advice on how to maintain good oral health.
What to expect?
During a check-up, your dentist will perform a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth and jaw. They may take x-rays to look for signs of cavities or infection and measure the depth of any pockets that have formed in your gums. Your dentist will check for any areas where plaque or tartar has built up. They will evaluate your bite and look for any signs of gum disease or other oral health issues.
Correspondingly, additional treatments may be recommended such as professional cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealants or fillings. At the end of your exam, your dentist will provide you with personalised advice on how to best maintain good oral health.
What does a dental check-up involve?

This is a testament to the entire team—dentists, nurses, and reception staff—who are all incredibly friendly and never fail to brighten my day with a little chat and a joke. (Plus, they have TVs on the ceiling, so you can relax and watch a good show while they work on your teeth!)
During my first visit, Dr. Elmer performed a comprehensive check of my teeth. He took the time to explain everything to me in a completely non-judgmental way, helping me understand which procedures would benefit me most. He also recommended a few small changes I could make at home and suggested some products to try. I’ve already noticed my teeth are whiter than before!
